DESCRIPTION: two old postcards showing views of the town of Gumeracha, South Australia sent from Ethel, to Miss Minnie Norsworthy at Gumeracha
DATE: the first is dated 8th October 1906, the second 28th November 1906
CURRENT OWNER OF THE ITEM: Alan Phillips
STORY/ABOUT:¬† To be honest I don’t know the story of these items, but I have found out that Minnie Norsworthy was the 3rd wife of John Hannaford, so that’s the family connection.

    You must have read my mind! I was going to ask you if you had a copy of the mail coach pic. I love this pic but had only ever seen a poor photocopy of it!

    Carey – I was obviously ‘meant’ to find those postcards yesterday wasn’t I!!

    Jill – aww thankyou. But I have to admit I am really amazed at what treasures my family has. So I have to be thankful to them for keeping them.
