Gumeracha Memorial Archway – taken October 2013

DESCRIPTION: an article that I wrote as an entry for the Halls Lemonade Competition, and the winning entry appeared in the Advertiser newspaper
 1983 sometime (I was 10)
CURRENT OWNER OF THE ITEM: Alona Tester (nee Phillips)
STORY/ABOUT: My grandma kept this article, but recently passed it on to me. My class at Gumeracha Primary School all entered the Hall’s Lemonade Competition, and for some reason I won, so my entry appeared in the newspaper.
Apart from it appearing in the newspaper, I had someone from Halls come and deliver two slabs of cans of lemonade! I can tell you that totally made my year!

  1. What a clever little bunny and a prize that would have been sweet to any youngster.
